Реферат: eng: It is shown theoretically and experimentally that the intensity of amplitude-modulated coherent optical radiation scattered or reflected by a moving object carries information about the velocity in the form of the Doppler frequency shift of the modulating harmonic function. Since a photodetector responds to the radiation intensity proportional to this function, the above-indicated effect allows one to carry out contactless measurements of motion parameters without using methods of interferometry.
