Реферат: eng: The drift of one-component absorbing particles involving the hyperfine splitting of the ground state levels induced by radiation of constant spectral density (white light) incident on an optically dense medium is investigated. The light-induced drift effect may be ascribed to the formation in the vicinity of the absorption line of a dip of specific shape in the spectrum of the radiation during its propagation. In the absence of collisional transitions between the hyperfine components, the drift velocity may reach values of approximately 5% of the maximum drift velocity on artificial formation of the radiation spectrum.
