Реферат: eng: Raman spectra of xLi2O.(1-x)B2O3 glasses and melts (x=0.05, 0.1, 0.15, 0.25 and 0.4) have been measured and analysed in the temperature range from 20 to 1000°C. Modelling of mid frequency (650-900 cm-1) and high frequency (1200-1650 cm-1) spectra ranges has been performed to determine quantitative information about the structural changes in the samples, depending on composition and temperature. Concentrations of the fundamental structural units were determined as a result of modelling of the high frequency spectra contours. The fraction of four-fold coordination boron atoms, N4 decreases with temperature increase. Dynamic equilibrium between structural units in the melts is given by (BØ4/2⇄BØ2/2O- (Ø - bridging oxygen; O- -nonbridging oxygen). A dominating mechanism of the structural change of the glasses with x≤0.15 as a function of heating and fusion is a process of destruction of the boroxol rings. Structural changes in the intermediate range order for x>0.15 are not limited by the dissociation of boroxol rings, but are also connected with the transformations between other superstructural groupings and their destruction.
