Реферат: eng: The condensed combustion products characteristics have been studied via sampling method for the model propellants containing amorphous boron, bi-fractional AP and energetic binder. Combustion runs were conducted at 1.2 and 2.5 MPa. For the condensed combustion products, the reducing number, RN - special parameter charactering the capacity of material for oxidation - has been determined with use of cerimetric method. The correlation between the reducing number and the attenuation of microwave signal in the condensed combustion products has been established. The specially designed device - resonator type sensor with working frequency 3.2 GHz - was used for the measurement of microwave signal attenuation. The principal possibility using the microwave technique to characterize the boron combustion completeness was shown.
