Реферат: | eng: Multidimensional differential geometry is used to analyze the qualitative behavior of coordinate grids. New formulas for the rate of relative variation in mesh sizes are derived in terms of characteristics of differential geometry. It is shown how these formulas can be used to estimate monitor functions for controlling the behavior of grid points generated by popular elliptic methods. Copyright © 2003 by MAIK
